Davis Social Misdirection Theory
The Davis Experiment is a group effort to control the negative social interaction of a certain individual called the “ Davis Candidate”. This is achieved by using a combination of Travis Hirschi's Social Control theory and Karl Marx's Social Alienation theory to create the Davis Social Misdirection theory. With combining aspects of Hirschi and Marx’s theories the Davis Social Misdirection theory uses negative reinforcement in the guise of positive reinforcement, in both public and private settings when the Davis Candidate uses negative social interaction. The Davis Candidate is the “subject” in this experiment (which in this cases is a girl), who overtly displays behaviors of self loathing toward other peoples happiness. The Davis Experiment is a social experiment of conditioning the response of a human (the Davis Candidate) by giving ulterior reinforcements to her cognitive awareness during active social settings. By defining key terms and explaining the functions of the Davis Experiment we will convey how to change the negative social interactions of a person who is both figuratively and literally a complete pretentious female human being by using social misdirection.
Every group of friends has someone who is a "Davis Candidate" and in this case study we are referring only to females. The Davis Candidate is the female in question whose social attributes are negative about anything and everything someone else in the group has to say or contribute. The physical attributes of the Davis Candidate range from mildly attractive to very attractive but for some reason they are constantly miserable and critical toward other people’s happiness. This person uses negativity to bring everyone else in the group to an even playing field of misery, there as to make everyone equal to their own discomfort. To the laymens, the girl in the group is a complete jerk to everyone for no reason other than the fact they want everyone else to be miserable and have an unconscious sense of low self worth as they do.
Many Women these days who fit the description of a Davis Candidate, are bitter at some event in their life in which they blame caused all their misery while imposing it on others, resulting in the Davis Condition. What “causes” the Davis Condition? The condition results from a multi-causal of attributes that has shaped their life from youth to present. Most attributes can be linked back to family (either being divorced or married) and the over indulging of the girls senses via materialism. More specifically, the parents have spoiled the girls satisfaction be giving them everything they have ever wanted thus causing her later developments of desire to never be satisfied nor capable of being achieved. When the Davis Candidate then reaches adulthood she is bombarded by life’s disappointments and is unable to cope with reality thus causing her to show signs of the Davis Condition to everyone around her.
The Davis Condition is the hyper criticism, negativity and insensitivity displayed to those in a social group by the Davis Candidate. The condition also includes the display of being superior to all those around summed up in elitist fashion with attributes consisting of being self centered, pretentious, inconsiderate, spiteful, unappreciative, conceited, pessimistic, insensitive, insincere self serving, spoiled, conniving, deceiving, exceedingly liberal, and promiscuous. More over, nothing you say is above a negative criticism from the Davis Candidate. This woman will always have an opinion on everything and anything you or someone else in the group says. Generally, all the social unpleasantries typically come from the Davis Candidate with no conscious awareness she is doing anything wrong or out of the ordinary.
After a while the group gets irritated of the Davis Candidate but is too polite to say anything different to her and avoid confrontation. However, part of the Davis Condition is thinking everyone else has the problem, so your complaints would fall on deaf ears if you ever confronted them. In addition to, the Davis Candidate is engulfed so much in their own self loathing that she will not accept or understand any criticism but only of her own toward others who are content with life. More over, because the Davis Candidate is typically attractive, she can write off a lot of her criticism to complete strangers who embrace her as attractive and are unaware of her condition which gives her a false sense of acceptance.
To begin the experiment you must locate and identify one key factor in order to have an effect on the Davis Candidate which is the “envy factor”. The envy factor in this case, would either be the girl’s best girlfriend or a sister. With the envy factor being another female, the Davis Candidate is put on the defensive and causes her to realize she is unable to control what is occurring during the group effort of social misdirection. More specifically, using another woman’s sexuality and male interest against the Davis Candidate is the catalyst in the use of the envy factor of social misdirection.
The envy factor is the one thing that the Davis Candidate could not receive in the shape of materialism and is all psychological. To cause envy in the Davis Candidate will slowly cause her to realize she can not have something just because she wants it. She will begin to attack her own sense of enjoyment toward her once best girlfriend / sister aka “envy factor” when the experiment is activated.
The experiment begins when the group uses the envy factor against the Davis Candidate. Whenever the Davis Candidate criticizes, complains or is utterly negative toward anything, ask her questions about her sister or her best girlfriend. The questions should consist of general inquiries concerning the likes, dislikes or accomplishments of her sister / best girl friend. You must ask these questions as a group in order to alleviate her of accusing you of being “weird” as girls tend to do when you put them on the spot individually. If everyone in the group is participating it gives the questions normalcy and legitimizes the effort. Examples as follows: 1. How old is your sister / best friend? 2. What color are their eyes? 3. How old is she? 4. How often do you two hang out? 5. Is she currently seeing anyone? 6. why don’t you bring her out sometime? 7. Do you know what shoe size she is? 8. What kind of perfume does she wear? 9. Did she go to junior prom? 10. Did she play any sports in high school?
Hanging Out
When hanging out with the Davis Candidate alone you can make more precision social misdirection at a more intimate level. You will be “complimenting” her sister / best girlfriend as often as you can. You will not have to wait for her to be negative before you make your compliments. Keep the compliments coming freely but have something to do in the meantime so as not to appear to be obvious. When making the attacks you must have direct eye contact and a nonchalant smile. Always pay attention to the Davis Candidate when making the attacks so she will see and notice your utmost sincerity concerning her best girlfriend / sister. Some examples of compliments as followed: 1. Your sister / best girlfriend is adorably cute 2. She has gorgeous eyes 3. Was she a cute baby? 4. My friends think she is cute as hell 5. When are you going to bring her out? 6. She has cute feet 7. I love her French manicure 8. She looks great in red 9. I know some guys who thought she was hot in high school 10. They don't make girls like her anymore. The Results
The social misdirection will result in a series of effects and outcomes. When inquiring or paying compliments to someone other than the center of attention, you cause an attention rift that cannot be ignored or go unnoticed by the Davis Candidate. When the envy factor is being paid all of the attention from people who are inherently friends with the Davis Candidate, it causes her to lash out at her sister / best girlfriend for conscious reasons of jealousy. This effect results in making her feel alone in the world from which she criticizes and becomes her own victim. More over, she will then see her sister / best girlfriend as competition and will develop severe resentment toward her and those who constantly bring her up. With the compliments and interests constantly being paid to the Davis Candidate’s sister / best girlfriend she will theoretical face her own insecurities as being consciously second place for the first time in her life and realize she is less appealing to majority consensus.
Another effect of social misdirection to the Davis Candidate is the “boycott effect”. The boycott effect is when the Davis Candidate gets so angry that she stops socializing with her friends to escape from the reality that has set in. However, the boycott is often short lived because the Davis Candidate finds it very difficult to make new friends and start over. When the Davis Candidate is forced to return to the group the theory of social misdirection has been achieved. When returning to the group she realizes that she does not want to feel attacked via compliments or inquires of the envy factor and she must avoid being negative during social settings. This is the controlled response effect of social misdirection and is much like a Skinner Box effect in that positive behavior is rewarded and negative behavior is socially misdirected as negative reinforcement in the guise of positive reinforcement. In other words, the Davis Candidate realizes consciously if she is negative she will receive punishment and if she is positive she will not suffer from the use of the envy factor. The experiment doesn’t necessarily cure the girl from being a complete pretentious person but rather makes her experience the same level of discomfort that she deals out to everyone else. It will not be the same discomfort but rather an annoyance every time she is negative and each time she is positive there will be no recourse of negative reinforcement. The behavior pattern for receive and reward will result in shaping the response of the Davis Candidate’s social interaction in a more positive light. More specifically, if she is not negative then she will not receive the social shock therapy of compliments toward the envy factor who makes her feel socially threatened and is now in competition with. In conclusion, the worst case scenario will cause the Davis Candidate to completely blow off her social circle while the best case scenario will cause her to refrain from the majority of her negativity directed toward the group. Regardless of what scenario occurs, the group benefits from either outcome favorably by not suffering pretentious negativity that ruins the memory of the nights social outing. |
