Remember the Men At Work Signs? When I was a kid I use to see the men at work signs everywhere. That doesn't mean they were actually working but the signs did in fact read, "Men At Work". Sometime during the 1990's I started to see less and less of the men at work signs. Well, let me explain to you why you do not see these signs anymore. Would you like to take a guess? If you guessed you do not see the signs anymore because they offended Women, then you guessed right. Well, since there are so many female construction workers now, it is understandable why they would want the signs changed right? Whats that? There aren't that many female construction worker? Well then why change the signs? The following shall explain why feminists pushed to have the "Men at Work" signs changed.
I was a sociology major in college and I had a lot of classes who were ran by Feminist professors. These same women referred to everything absent of gender. When a student referred to something in the masculine tense (calling something he, his or him) the professor would make it a point to stop the lecture and say, "You are using the "generic male" when referencing a genderless application". Basically, anytime you referenced a job or action in the generic male which all languages do, you were reminded not to and that you sounded offensive to women. In other words, it amounts to apologizing for not including something as far fetched as Latin speaking trans-genders when describing how to dig a ditch.
So why are the feminists picking specifically on the Men at Work signs? The construction field is a field that has always been dominated by men and threatens the "We Can Do It Too" concept by feminists. Dick Masterson once said, "Every brick you see in a building was laid there by a man". Of course, these feminist do not take into account that ever road they drive on, every building they walk into, every house the lived in, every auto mobile they drive in, every piece of technology they use, were built by men 98% hands down across the board. The feminists got offended when they drive by construction sites with men at work signs being displayed. So the feminists lobbied to have the signs be changed from "Men at Work" to "Workers ahead" and the pussy whipped beta-male politicians made it happen. So lets make the city change the Men At Work sign to take away credit from the truth of reality. Men work, women stay at home. There are less women in the construction field than they are in the military so making a move on this male dominated bastion was inevitable.
What kind of "women" would be construction workers? I mean really think about it and the stereotype (reality type) should pop in your head. OK, pretty much the only female workers in construction are bull dyke lesbians. Having said that, those bull dykes do not care about sensitive issues. They would not have complained about some damn sign when in fact they wish they were men anyway. The sign reinforces what they always wanted to be! They labor hard, smell, eat fast food, and think about banging chicks all day. They are indeed, men at work! So, why was the sign changed through political pressure in most states? Feminists nags!
What is comes boils down to is a power struggle between literal meaning insecure feminists and guys who don't really give a shit. Feminists wanted to make a dent in the largest make dominated field they could which is construction work. If the feminists successes in making an all male dominated field bow to their will, then they have won a key battle in the war of women rule. Well, that's what they think. No one really cares that a group of male politicians made another group of males change the verbage of a sign. I mean after all, it again, was a group of men telling another group of men what to do, which has been the practice since the beginning. I always laugh when feminists celebrate their moral victory brought to them by their mind and hard work when all that happened was their vagina pussy whipping ability to change a man's mind to do something a woman wanted. You see, feminists think they are more than just a piece of meat desired sexually by men, but that's the only reason they can get things down, by using their vagina even though that's not what they ended to happen.
