Will other advertisers follow suit? It is hard to say, but if Miley fans continue to put pressure on Perez's advertisers they might pull their ads. Well negative attention always gives you attention so Perez will gain just as many as he loses, just ask Mel Gibson.
For her part, the 17-year-old "Can't Be Tamed" singer responded to Perez's behavior by saying it was an example of "an idiot being an idiot."
