| | | Joe Arpaio's Life Threatened by Mexican Drug Cartels When Arizona's immigration law SB 1070 went into effect, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is in the news for another reason: there's a price on his head - allegedly offered by a Mexican drug cartel. The audio message in Spanish is a bit garbled, but the text is clear. "It's offering a million dollars for Sheriff Joe Arpaio's head and offering a thousand dollars for anyone who wants to join the Mexican cartel." man who wants to remain anonymous says his wife received the text message Tuesday evening. It also included an international phone number and instructions to pass the message along.
"She showed it to me...I was kind of disgusted...I reported it to the Sheriff's department yesterday...they said they were going to direct the threat squad on it." Lisa Allen of the Sheriff's office says they believe the message originated in Mexico. Although the Sheriff has received numerous death threats in the past, they believe this threat is credible because of its timing.
"Arpaio gets threats pretty routinely, but obviously with this heightened awareness of his role in the immigration issue we've got to take this one a little bit more seriously with a million dollar contract out on him," said Allen. But she says what really concerns investigators is how quickly the message may have been spread. "It's going so many different places that our folks are looking at it and thinking well at any given point in time it could land in front of some crazy person who thinks I can do that."
As for Arpaio's reaction to the threat, "It's a little bit like water off a duck's back for him, but you never know if it's that sense of false bravado with him...you just can't read it, I'm sure he's concerned, I'm sure he's concerned for his family more than anything else," said Allen... Joe will be protected because the citizens who actually pay taxes Love him! | | | | | | | Judge Bolton Overruled Arizona Immigration Law Last week Judge susan Bolton got her panties in a wad about what impact Arizona’s law would have on illegal immigrants. She simply struck down most of the law but Arizona will probably enforce anyway since 5 million citizens are for it and one judge is against it. Bolton sent out a clear message that she was going to tie up the whole issue for a couple of years and until then illegal immigrants were protected against any inquiries into their immigration status. Bolton is a feminist who was socially promoted to her position by political correctness. You should see how she does push ups.
Bolton also encouraged the drug cartels that it was better than business as usual. Cartel soldiers can now hide amongst the illegal immigrants and not have a worry that law enforcement can touch them. This has emboldened the drug cartels to come after the heads of law enforcement just like in Mexico. However Arizona citizens are going to be forced to take measures into their own hands much like the events that unfolded at Lexington and concord in 1775.
There is now a $1 million hit contract on Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s head. Well done Judge Bolton you collaborator. She was probably bought by the cartels to rule in their favor. There are roughly 15,000 law enforcement personnel to serve about 6 million people in Arizona. That represents one officer for 400 people. What happens Judge Bolton when they quit with disgust because they are deemed expendable? You are cajoling all these illegal immigrants and encouraging lawlessness. The day after your ruling another officer was killed in a drug raid. These are drugs that come from Mexico. Maybe if we had this law in place, the officer might not have lost his life.
Missouri, Rhode Island and Virginia have enacted laws similar to Arizona’s with reductions in violent crime of 40%. Judge you have no common sense notwithstanding the fact that our attorneys tell us your ruling was atrocious. You did not even follow the law. Instead, you have put Arizonans in harms way and one of our most precious resources law enforcement personnel. Is your goal to get police chiefs run out of town like in Mexico where there are no more police in the border towns on the Mexican side? Your ruling is a good first step. | | | | | |
