Junction City Police Chief Bob Story identified the arrested woman as Micha A. Cook, 27, a physical education and health teacher at the high school. Wow, another state job lost except this time it wasn't the economy! The Geary County police department was notified Wednesday of a possible unlawful relationship between Cook and a student at the high school. It seems like Cook was doing more than letting a certain male student climb the rope in gym class. Let's face it, why would a woman bang someone who is underage when they know full and well all the media attention that is going on with teachers getting in trouble for committing indecent sexual liberties with minors? The Junction City Police Department’s Investigations Division executed three search warrants on Wednesday and obtained items of “evidentiary value” regarding the case, Story said. That means the kid is talking because his mother is pissed off and demands retribution. Cook was arrested in connection with aggravated indecent liberties with a child and made her a first appearance Thursday in Geary County District Court. Cook was being held in the Geary County Detention Center on $25,000 bond. Story said an investigation in the case is ongoing and whether or not it really happened, her reputation is ruined.
